Chronic Pain Recovery Support

Program Information

“Ray of Hope Chronic Pain Recovery Support
was created following my own
recovery from debilitating chronic pain.”

Are you tired of suffering from chronic pain?

I have some wonderful news to share! There is hope for better tomorrows because your body was designed to heal. Ray of Hope Chronic Pain Recovery Support is a 3-month scientific research-based nutrition, health, and lifestyle education program designed to help you guide your body to the path of healing, reduce your level of chronic pain, and improve your quality of life. This program has been created to help people with all levels of mobility, ability, or disability, including people who are currently bedridden. Regardless of whether you are able to walk, or unable to walk, this program can benefit you!

Following your program registration, password access to the members section of this website will be provided. The members section contains educational blog articles and diagrams which can expand your knowledge base, and maximize the positive impact of your Zoom support meetings. Personalized video support calls once every two weeks via Zoom (Zoom.com) will provide the personal support you require to create gentle, consistent, positive changes in your nutritional, health, and lifestyle habits. Your first Zoom video support meeting will be 1 hour in length, and subsequent meetings will be 45 minutes long. Following completion of the 3-month program, optional continued support is available on a month-by-month basis.

We will discuss your chronic pain level, and you will learn about the Foundational Building Blocks of Health. The information and support you will receive throughout this program will be custom tailored to meet each your learning needs. Known root causes which create and amplify chronic pain will be explored. Ray of Hope Chronic Pain Recovery Support complements the medical care you receive from your health care provider. Decisions regarding which specific nutrition, health, and lifestyle changes to implement should be made in conjunction with your health care provider to ensure that the changes are appropriate for you medically.

Program subjects will include nutrition, and symptoms caused by clinical and subclinical nutritional deficiencies. A focus will be placed on reducing inflammatory foods, and increasing superfoods rich in antioxidants. Information regarding how to facilitate a reduction in your inflammation level, oxidative stress reduction, toxin intake reduction, and supporting the body’s natural detoxification pathways will be provided with an emphasis on improving cellular and mitochondrial health. Reducing inflammation, increasing mobility gradually, and receiving safe daily outdoor light exposure will be encouraged. The autonomic nervous system will be explained, with a focus on reducing time spent in Sympathetic Nervous System mode. Gut-brain axis, vagus nerve health, neurotransmitter production, epigenetics, and how these factors affect health will be discussed. The health benefits that gentle chiropractic care can provide to people suffering from chronic pain will be addressed because it supports the healing process that leads to chronic pain reduction.

Health harming insulin resistance, and metabolic dysfunction will receive focus because they are incredibly prevalent within our society. Therefore, intermittent fasting will be discussed due to it’s cellular health benefits which include autophagy, mitophagy, gut microbiome health, reduction of insulin resistance, and improved metabolic health. Information pertaining to gut health, increased intestinal permeability (leaky gut), gut microbiome dysbiosis, Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), and Small Intestinal Fungal Overgrowth will be provided because gut health problems are incredibly prevalent, especially when a chronic pain diagnosis exists.

Your progress will occur at the rate and pace appropriate for your body, and perfection is not required. However, a willingness to make positive changes, consistency, determination, and persistence when partnered with the Foundational Building Blocks of Health can create the momentum your body requires for chronic pain reduction. A specific timeline for improvement and individual results cannot be provided because every program member’s body will be different. For example, when arthritis has existed for many years, an affected individual might require a referral from their health care provider for joint replacement surgery, stem cell treatment, or other medical procedures in addition to this program. That being said, it is possible to reduce, and even prevent further damage to other joints.

During my personal recovery from chronic pain, I regained the ability to walk, swim, ride a bicycle, and play my piano. My quality of life has been restored! I experience the joys of life again, and I’m no longer the woman who was living in her bed with a TV as her companion. Being able to enjoy social activities, sunset walks along the beach, and visits with family and friends has been a blessing. Last summer, I was able to take my granddaughter to the zoo where we enjoyed seeing animals, playing together in the water park area, and a lovely picnic lunch. For me, that was an incredible achievement I couldn’t have imagined a decade ago, however, that is my current reality. I would love to share the scientific research-based information, and valuable insights I’ve gained during my own healing journey with you, and support you as you create your own better tomorrows.
